Deadline: April 28th 2025
Practices: Practices will begin the week of May 14th. Each team will have a scheduled practice once a week on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
Ages: T-Ball is for boys & girls 5-6 years old
Games: Games will start the Week of June 3rd. While bad weather may extend the season, the season will be declared finished July 5th regardless of outstanding games.
Coaching: Please let us know if you or your family would like to coach, assist, or generally help out. No experience is needed to help. We will have coaches meetings May TBA @ 6:30 PM. EVERYONE THAT WISHES TO COACH, BE ON THE FIELD OR IN THE DUGOUT MUST ATTEND A COACHES MEETING.
Equipment: Bel Aire Recreation provides teams with bats, balls, batting helmets, a T-ball stand for the T-ball teams, and catcher’s gear for the rest of the teams. Bases and chalk lines for games only. Players must provide gloves. Rubber cleats are allowed but not required.
Uniforms: Each team will be provided with team shirts. Team colors are assigned randomly. Players may wear shorts or pants to their own comfort.
Weather: Bel Aire Staff will determine the playability of field conditions. We may play in light rain. In case of rain outs we will be reschedule as quickly as field availability and conditions allow. Please do not call the recreation center to see if the games are cancelled. We will contact the coaches and they will contact you.

Release of Liability
In consideration of gaining membership or otherwise being allowed to use the Bel Aire Recreation Center (“Facility”) and/or participate in the activities or programs occurring at said Facility, I (if over 18), the undersigned, Participant/Parent/Guardian, understand and agree that the City of Bel Aire, Kansas, is not and shall not be responsible for or liable for any illness or injury to person or for loss of or damage to property that I (or the participant, if a minor) may suffer as a result of the use of the Facility and/or participate in said activities or programs. I hereby forever waive, release and hold harmless the City of Bel Aire, Kansas, its employees, agents and representatives from any and all claims of any kind that I, or my respective heirs, executors, administrators or assigns, may have or claim to have resulting from the use of the Facility or participation in said activities or programs. I recognize that there are inherent risks and dangers in the activities that I will take part in. I expressly agree to accept and assume all such risks existing in said activities, including risks of injury. I acknowledge that I have been urged and advised to seek the advice of a physician before I (or the participant, if a minor) use the Facility or participate in any activity or program occurring at the Facility.
Code of Conduct
I agree to abide by the Bel Aire Recreation Parents’ Code of Conduct.
Photo/Video Release
I, the undersigned, consent and authorize the City of Bel Aire, Kansas, to use at its discretion any photograph(s) or video(s) taken of me (or the participant, if a minor) while participating in said membership/activities/programs at said Facility, and waive any and all claims that I (or the participant, if a minor) may have resulting from any use of such photograph(s) or video(s).

By signing this Release of Liability, Code of Conduct, and Photo/Video Release, I certify that I am at least eighteen (18) years of age and that I have carefully read the same and fully understand all aspects of said releases.
The contact will be automatically added to the class as a registrant if someone drops out from a full class.
